How it started.

Over 40 years ago, on April 1, 1976 machinist Jan Fruijtier launched with 900 guilders and a lathe, a basement and his craftsmanship, his own business. That was the beginning of machine factory Metalo Zaandam. Nowadays Metalo is led by Marcel and Robèrt, both being second generation Fruijtiers. What started as a sole proprietorship has now grown into a company with nearly 25 employees and a diverse machinery.
Metalo focuses on making new and repair parts fast for a very wide range of customers including automotive, off-shore, heavy industry, food and printing industry.
